Says you. Some could argue he's the best thing to ever happen to a fatwa. You can't have a religious war without someone willing to fight back.

I can't imagine.
What, a guy with a multi-colored afro? I thought the Rainbow Brigade, the Rainbow People, and the black community would all vote Democratic, so I don't grok who you're referencing.

But, it is a nice fro.

If you see surrendering as a good idea I would stronly disagree. I kind of like being able to pick what religion I follow, and I also like the idea of being able to not follow any religion at all.

On a lighter note:

It looks like Bush's biggest supporters are:

Central African Republic -- 80%
Faroe Islands ------------ 80%
Liechtenstein ------------ 82%
Niger -------------------- 98%

I don't know what this might mean, except that a lot of people are pretending to be from Niger

*edit* atrocious spelling

Honestly, no matter who wins, the country won't be much better off. Bush stays, our economy drops, Kerry wins, our military gets hampered.

Ha! Thanks Stratos. My co-worker and friend thought I was serious, took me aside and asked if I meant it. She was concerned. Though I did entertain the thought that it wouldn't bother me if Bush did get reelected. People would then see what a total mistake he really is. But then I realize that, here in America, there are alot of Bush supporters who will never ever see the light even if it hit them smack in the face. Most have already been hit. Boneheads!

I personally think (and this no offense!) too many people are getting sucked into Bush's fear mongering and smear tacticts. Anytime Bush screws up, he can just cover his ass by portraying Kerry as weak on defence. At least Kerry has a plan to with domestic issues that are important like: jobs, healthcare, the enviroment, etc.

What you said is pretty accurate, Grojlach. The term "conservative" is different in Europe. A party like the Republicans would be considered way too conservative in Europe to be a major party (unless they had a more moderate leader and platform). Likewise what's considered an "unacceptably left" party (The Green Party) to be elected in the states, would be considered perfectly normal in Europe and likely be a major party. The Democrats could be considered either a centre party (Liberal) or right-of-centre, depending on the candidate.

I thought it was interesting that Nader wasn't even included. I wonder how much recognition he has outside of the US. He barely gets any within it.

*admits* I had just turned 18 and I voted for Nader in 2000. I won't be making that idealistic mistake again, but being a Texan, if I could vote 30,000 times it wouldn't make much of a dent anyway.

Good on ya, Lucern, no use being made fun of twice. Oh, and thanks for *slightly* helping GWB win in 2000. I won't hold you at fault, though, because you're in Texas, where GWB woulda won no matter what.

Again, I certainly do wish we could recruit Euros to vote in our elections coming in November.

Gee and I thought that too many people are getting sucked into Kerry's fear mongering and smear tactict. Everytime a weakness of Kerry's is pointed out, Democrats just revert to their usual fear and smear tacticts. I don't think most Americans are going to be guilable enough for Kerry's so called plan and see it for what it is, an attemp to buy the election with a lot of pork-barrel promises.
