It was just a friendly advice. France didn't act as an enemy of the US really.

Selling weapons and ammo to the other side just a week before the hostilities began might have been viewed as somewhat other than friendly since the war was no surprise to anyone. As well as possibly forgetting about several UN sanctions in its business dealings. Just a thought.

Wow, there seem to be exactly two groups of people left in the universe who think that France is still THAT powerful today
Well, France is a powerful country. I was just pondering yesterday how the US war in Iraq may have been stymied if France had of said it would stand behind its claims that such a war was wrong by sending troops to Aid the defense of innocent Iraqis and French business interests if the US sent troops. I'm sure THAT would have considerably slowed things down, wouldn't you think?

What do you think? Will it work or will it cause even more trouble?
ARE YOU NUTS!?!?!?!?

1: They wouldn't even CONSIDER it!

2: North Korea would smash the blockade like a beer bottle!

3: That would be a mistake that not even a kid who dropped out of "psychotic" school would make!
