Hi, I'm going to vote for BUSH. So far in my opinion none of the challengers have bothered to address any issues important to me. They spend most of their time pointing fingers, but appear to lack a plan on how to do better. Lets not forget that the prior democratic leader had several opportunities to get to Osama before the tragedy of 9-11, which caused death and loss for people from many countries.

Let us also not forget the former president ran the strongest economy in decades, while at the same time tightening welfare, forcing people to get frikkin jobs or get off the dole. Let's also not forget that there was no political will to go after Osama then, and let's not forget that popping off a couple of Patriot missiles in response to the USS Cole was about all the involvement we the people would have supported before 9/11.

Newt Gingrich dragged Clinton kicking and screaming through the welfare reform.

If Clinton is responsible for the economic boom of the 90's then he is responsible for the recession that followed. After all, it started on his watch.
And we know that he had nothing to do with the economy, it was the American people who created that boom.

Whatever. It's all off-topic twattle anywho. I just think that Arkansas hick is the best president we've had in about 50 years.

P.S. Please remember to tell the dumb oil monkee he's not responsible for the economic boom if the economy ever turns around. Same principle.

But, to think the President, who is intimately involved with economic planning -- in fact posed the major draft that used for the yearly budget -- is not "responsible" in some way for the economy, is ignoring reality. Clinton, for instance, shut the government down demanding they balance a budget and vetoing the spending bill. For that, he will always have my respect.

And, the only thing Newt ever did that was worth comment was evade taxes. One of the worst men in history. Period.

I will vote for Silvio Berlusconi as he would be the ideal replacement for Mr. Bush: the two are the foreign politicians (ugh, I almost wrote "statesmen", what was I thinking!!!) I just love to hate. And Mr. Berlusconi is on record as being a great admirer of the USA: a perfect match.

Plus, Mr. Berlusconi got a beautiful, smart and independent-minded wife with great sense of style. Well, the last probabaly went without saying, after all, she is Italian.

I would vote for ABBA.

AnyBody But Bush Again, Bush has done a terrible job, not only does he suck at running his own country but tries to take neighbouring countries down with him. It is a good thing he sucks at that as well.. The only thing he tried to do that was any good was the partial abortion issue.

Its only fair that Bush gets re-elected. After all, the European Union is stuck with Prodi (that guy has 'corruption' written all over him. Those two do a good job balancing each other out.

That's a worry I can relieve you off: in all likelihood Mr. Prodi will soon return to Italy to challenge Mr. Berlusconi in the next general election there. According to the latest polls I have read about he has excellent chances to succeed and become prime minister again. Then Mr. Berlusconi will be unemployed, so making him US president would be an act of charity!
