Not really, the majority of Canadians supported Chretiens decision to not enter the war. Anyway, the Canadian participation would be more symbolic than actually useful to the coalition.
Maybe not the war, but in general, I have heard many Canadians say the the people are more conservitive then the Chretien adminastration.

But hey, I dont live in Canada, never been there, and only know a few, so I could be wrong.
Well CHretiens recent exploit: the same-sex marriage has aroused great dissention in his party and the general population. The majority of MPs and the general pop. oppose it so you are right about the pop. having different opinions than the government.

Yes that is unfortunate but if it gives you any satisfaction we do it to ourselves as well.

We cant even create jobs here, many of our unemployed have even given up looking for jobs, not me though. Whats really sad is our own companies ship jobs out over to India and such. We can't blame Canada for that.

Anyway, I digress...

I will just take this opportuntity to apologize for my countrymen who treat Canadians bad or don't show any sympathy when some tells of being treated poorly simply because of nationality.

Fortunately here at IW Ziroc shuts down even the hint of nation bashing and that should allow us all here to breath easy and find common ground instead of focusing on the divisive.

Americans, i apologize for the actions of some Canadians who have taken it upon themselves to hold their snouts in the air and act as if they are better than you in so many ways.. an action i deem the antithesis of Canadian good manners. Hold thy tongues bickering devils, i will not speak ill of my friends.

How can you not support many aspects of the American led foray into Iraq? Brutal dictator removed. Varying reports of the civilian dead but at least what 3000 dead civilians (i have honestly not seen many accountings.. and those i did seem to vary wildly)? Not sure about the military casualties on either side... I guess it's to bad that lies had to be used to justify it all. I'm sure we all could have handled the truth of the matter, why would they lie about starting a war??? Unless they just got it wrong.. their intel was bad and war was entered because our leaders were inept. That makes me feel better about it!

Well... since we are not good neighboor, I guess we should take back the 1 000 megawatts we are providing to the New York state...
