Okey I'm pretty new to roleplay, and have yet to buy the players handbook, only have the adventure game, which my brother and his friends said yesterday is the most fun they have ever had...they are 10
But I found a monster that I'm going to pit them against but in the description it says it has a skill and then there is (SU) and (EX) behind it, I suppose that is like ability modifiers for the skill but what do SU and EX stand for? |

SU is a supernatural(I think), more like a magical ability that the creature has. It is not functioning in an antimagic field.
Ex is an extraordinary ability, not target by antimagic field or dispel magic and such. SL is spell like ability, works like a spell.
