Here's mine (I tend to upgrade piecemeal evey few months, one part at a time, so while one is near top-of-the line, others are slightly lower, though it's overall a very solid machine at the moment though not one of the absolute most powerful)

Well I have 4 fully functional rigs under my desk, and one partial system in the closet, but the only one that matters is the one for games, the rest are just work related
The gaming rig is as follows: PIII 1GHz Abit SA6R Mobo 512MB PC-133 RAM Hercules Prophet III GeForce 3 video card 3 x 30gig WD 7200rpm Hard Drives two in a RAID 0 array. OS is Win98se (so far no compelling reason to upgrade) Sony CD-RW 8/4/32 Creative Labs CD-ROM 48x Creative Labs SoundBlaster live View Sonic PF790 19" Monitor. Comcast Cable modem at 1.5meg down and 128k up LinkSys BEFSR41 Router/switch/firewall It is also networked to 240gigs of network storage. [ 04-19-2002, 12:15 AM: Message edited by: MagiK ] |
