In the Technical Detail section, the blade is "strongly secured" yet "easily detachable". If they can actually make an oxymoronic thing like that, I see no reason why we shouldn't have real laser-beam lightsabers which defy the known laws of light energy.

Hans blaster is far superior to kirks phaser pistol - plus solos a pirate/smuggler type whereas kirk is complelled by rules to try for a peacful soloution first.

OH, strongly secured yet easily detachable means its probably clipped on - secure unless you twist it right or some such. I want me one...
