Silver blade and Dragon Scale Armor?

I have two parts to the 'Equilizer' (a silver blade and the 'handle'(?), is that enough? I am still stuck in Underground so...

And isn't there a dragon scale armor somewhere?? Where? Have I missed it? [img]redface.gif[/img]

You need three parts for Equalizer : Pommel Jewel of the Equalizer, Hilt & Blade. Last two are found in Underdark & the first is in Irenicus Dungeon. I'm not sure if you can get the pommel jewel later on in the game , though.

Sure there is a dragon in Underdark... and yes, it has scales ... but you have to be Evil (with a capital E [img]smile.gif[/img] ) to even think about killing the noble silver one. [img]smile.gif[/img]

You can only use the scales of the Shadow Dragon and the Red Dragon to make Dragon Scale Armour. You cannot do so with the Silver Dragon, as she does not drop scales as loot.

The silver blade is not part of the Equalizer. It's a completely different sword. You have to get the other half of it from a bunch of Githyanki that will ambush you when you return to Athkatla for the first time in Chapter 6.

The parts of the Equalizer are, and can be found:

1. The Pommel Jewel, in Irenicus' dungeon at the start of the game
2. The Blade, on the body of the Elder Orb at the beginning of the Beholder Lair in the Underdark
3. The Hilt, on a table in the central room of the Illithid Lair in the Underdark, where you meet the Ogre.

The only two places you can get dragon scales for armor are from:

1) The Shadow Dragon in the Temple Ruins NW of Umar Hills --> makes Shadow Dragon Scale, the best leather armor in the game

2) Firkraag, in the Windspear Hills --> makes Red Dragon Plate, very tough and fire-resistant.
