underdark question (spoiler)

I've some questions:
1.I'm in the underdark and I have to find a dragon, but I cant find it anywhere. I've explored every are.
2.What is the purpose of the beholder city? There's nothing but Beholders and Gauths...
3.In the city in the west full of 'the smelly fishman' there is a statua of a deamon that wants an animal sacrifice, how do you sacrifice something? And there are also 2 birthingpools of the fishman and you can infect one whit corrupted fishes, why should I do that?

1) the dragon is in the top right. You will need a light gem to "penetrate the shadows of her cave".
2)Later in the game you will be asked to find an elder orb's eyestalk, you can obtain one here.
3)cast a summon spell and have it walk to the statue, summon fire elemental or animal will work. if you corrupt the tad poles the Koa-toa will be weakened. [img]smile.gif[/img]

A) The dragon is in the top right hand corner. It's in the same place as the drow city, but it will be labelled as dark cave.

B) The Beholder City, Illithid Caverns, and Kua-Toa lair are all part of a quest the drow matron will offer you. You'll need to recover some "parts" from some dead "animals." Go to Adalon (the dragon in the dark cave) to initiate all the drow quests.

C) Offer a sacrifice and 5 big nasty demon knights will appear. They have level-drain attacks and can cast fear. They're also worth 16,000 xp each I believe. [img]smile.gif[/img] After defeating them, some tresure will pop up including the bracers that raise your strength score to 21. You need these to construct the Crom Faeyer.

Ok thnx but if i walk to the dragon, i enter the dark elf city. that isn't good, is it?

1. yes the dargon is in dark cave just west of drow city. You need to get the lite gem from the gnomes city in far west by beating a tanari. or just kill the little gnome.

if you want to go easy take the beholder place to get eyestalk. if you enter the illiad city you will be captured and its a pain to get out of city. illiads are most annoying enemy in game.

if you do go that route you can get some really cool mind circulets though (=

and umm yeah you have to enter the drow city. and get the eggs the dragon asked you to get to get out of underdark.

at least thats the non evil way

You need the blood from either the Elder Brian, the Elder Orb, or the Kuo-Toan Prince.

And to clarify, FIRST, go to Adalon the Silver Dragon, and make her tell you about her eggs, and turn you into a Drow. THEN go the Ust Natha, and do the quests there.

The illiad city? Does Achilles live there? Or do you mean the illithid city. Many illithid live there. Not illithids, but illithid. One sheep, two sheep. One fish, two fish. One illithid, two illithid. The jury is out on the plural form of Kuo-Toa. Anyone know for sure?
