I'm getting them more and more often now. I just know that i did certain things before which would suggest that I live the same live over and over again. Creepy isnt it?

For me it usually happens with dreams, I dream something perfectly innocent and everyday-like and then it happens to me a few days later.... Damn creepy feeling....

I get them all the time..
Mostly just pieces of certain events which I then "re-live".. It seems most people have those, though.. |

I sometimes have them, and once I had a de ja vu of an de ja vu... I was so sure I was reliving the same De ja vu again... that was weird, kinda like having two opposing mirrors in your brain

I heard an interesting explanation of deja vu on radio yesterday. Tested and proved, too, apparantly. It goes like this:
Bits of related information about the same thing take various pathways through the brain until they all meet together and are 'recognised'. There are specific time-linked 'rules' about which bits get to the recognition point first; sort of like 'a' is first, 'b' second etc. 'A' is always always on the path that gets that bit of info there first, so memory 'recognises' an event has occurred before 'b' (and the rest) get there. But sometimes 'b' gets to the point before 'a'. But memory has already logged 'b', so when 'a' arrives memory thinks it is seeing information about something it recognises as having happened before (about a millisecond before!), hence the feeling of deja vu. Interesting, huh? If you can follow what I wrote, that is... It is all from memory! Some of the things that have been described in this thread are not actually deja vu, by the look of it. Don't ask me what they are! No idea!

I used to get deja vu nearly every day back in high school, but more rarely now. And I too have had deja vu about deja vu. I heard a similar explanation for it, but it's more fun without any explanation at all
