What quests give out good XP in Chapter 2?? BTW, I've already done Winspear Hills, Slaver Stockade, Harper Compound, and Baron Ployer/Jaheira...

Also I'm not worried about spoilers since I've already played the game several times...It's just that I can't remember any good XP spots...

Spoiler alert, for innocent bystanders who wandered here by mistake!
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Try the quests in the graveyard that don't require much combat, if what you need is level up chars.. Ti'Vael (The buried man) and the orphan girl/ knight of Helm quests come to mind. The De'Arnise keep gives good XP as well as rewards. But for the jackpot, "Seek out and destroy the Cult of the Sightless." Not only do you get quest points but there is major butt-kicking-for-goodness as well as some nifty items. Maybe helping Renal Bloodscalp expose Mae'Var's trechaery.. trechery... however you spell it. ::rattles off while counting on fingers:: The Umar Hills, the murders in the Bridge District, the Planar Sphere, Haer'Dalis and the Five Flagons... Trademeet! Trademeet, Trademeet, Trademeet! Save it from the druids, save it from the djinni, save it from the skinner-murderer! At any rate, have fun!

All of the stronghold quests have good XP... they are:
Nalia`s Keep Windspear Hills The Killings in Umar Hills The Five Flagons Inn (Rescuing Haer'Dalis) THe Cult of the Eyeless Animal Trouble in Trademeet Exposing Mae'var`s Treachery The Planar Sphere Also, there are many quests which give OK to Excellent XP (all of the following are completable in any of chapters 2,3, or 6): Kangaxx Twisted Rune Guarded Compound (Temple District) Nalia`s Father`s Funeral Nalia`s Kidnapping Cernd`s Family Quest Mazzy`s Family Quest Keldorn`s Family Quest Finding the Book of Kaza for Korgan Finding the Nether Scroll for Edwin Killing the Lich in the Gate District Solving the Killings in the Bridge District Saving Trademeet from the Dao Djinni The Feuding Family`s of Trademeet The Fallen Paladins Hiring an Artist for the Temple of Helm Recovering the Ring for the Temple of Lathander Killing the Party Upstairs in the Den of the Seven Vails The Illithid Lair in the Sewers |

A good source of (potentially) unlimited number of XPs is in the Sewers. The "statue that seems to be screaming" summons several Sword Spiders and a Walking Horror whenever you click it. Therefore, memorize as much Remove Fears as possible and click the statue as many times as you want. I've tried it.
Another good source seems to be one of the "bad wishes" from the Limited Wish spell. You can summon several Juggernaut Golems repeatedly. Well, Limited Wish is a rather high level spell. I've never tried this source of XP. Of course, every quest gives you some reward in XP. The problem with quests is that they give you XP only once so that the number of XP you can gain is limited. A bit of cheese: A bug in one quest in Brynlaw allows you to gain huge number of XPs extra fast. Well, Brynlaw is Chapter 4.

I suggest doing all of the Trademeet-quests, along with the stronghold-quest. The Planar Sphere gives much XP, as does the Unseeing Eye-quest. I suggest doing all of these, so you enter Brynnlaw and the Asylum with high-level characters.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I've already done the Maevar's treachery quest and I've already killed the party in seven vales..., I think I'll go do the De'Arnise Keep, Cult of the Sightless, Graveyard quests (how did I forget these?), and the sewer quests...I'll do some of the others in Chapter 6...I'm currently doing the Skinning murders in the Bridge district, QUESTION: Where do I find the evidence for the killings besides that one girl?? Or should I just kill SPOILER...

SPOILERS
* * * * * * * * You can just kill or pickpocket the tanner, to make him admit his crimes, but the best way is to gather the evidence. First, talk to the beggar, and gather as much information you can from him. Then, go talk to Rose Bouqet, she stand right outside the Five Flagons Inn. Listen carefully to what she says, and talk to the merchant next to her. Recieve the things for her to smell on, and she will recognize the bark-thing. And then, go talk to the tanner, tell him that you have gathered evidence against him, and he will become hostile. ![]() |

Actually.....I find that if you really want to maximize EXP, try to do as FEW quests as possible before heading off to Chapter 4. I suggest the Slavers, and then the de'Arnise Keep. I find that you fight the exact same bad guys in Chapters 4 & 5 no matter what your party level is--so you go in at low level, come out at high level, and you suddenly have MUCH TOUGHER MONSTERS to fight in EVERY other quest in the game. The Temple Ruins are full of Liches, at 22,000 EXP apiece. Ohhhh, yeah.
