Okay, I am bringing this from memory here. What are "The cards"? I read a post about them about 8 months ago and just remembered that I didn't post a question about them. What are they? I read it somewhere on the forum that there was a box of cars of chance, and you take a random chance of different things to happen if you draw a card? Wtf? This might belong in the ToB column, I read this 8 months ago when there was no ToB column, but I just though to try here first.

It's called a "Deck of Many Things." You may be able to find one in SoA; I know for sure there are some in ToB, as well as a gambling game you can play in there, too.

You gamble with them. You may get Imprisoned, attacked by monsters, gain a stat point, gain a million Xp, etc... ...

Very entertaining, indeed. Though I always lose against Aesgareth.

SO did i - the trick is to save before talking to him and reload multiple times. Its a bugger to do though, my odds seem to be 1 in 10 of winning when its should be 1 in 2, but i never have any luck anyway.

There are no cards in SoA though, ToB only.

I read someplace that Aesgareth will ALWAYS win the third draw, no matter what you do. I haven't fully tested it, though.

You actually CAN play with the Deck in SoA, as you can easily do Watcher's Keep while still in the SoA part of the game. But it IS in a ToB area, so you need to have ToB installed, and this is a ToB question.
