Going through the game again before NWN comes out in Australia. Decided to be a half-orc Beserker with Two handed swords as my main weapon, but I missed the extra attack from dual weilding I'd gotten used to previously. Went and installed the TeamBG grandmastery patch and noticed that at 5 stars I get a full extra attack. That's not right, I should only be getting an extra half attack same as BG1 and IWD. Anyone else noticed this? Fixed it myself with NearInfinity.
You are only supposed to get an extra half attack right? 1 to start with, +1/2 at level 7, +1/2 at level 13, +1/2 for specialisation, and +1/2 for 5 grandmastery. Also noticed that although Baldurdash fixed the Imp. Invisibility spell they didnt do the same to Mass Invisibility, which is a pity because that spell rocks. You can cast it over and over and get -4 to all saves over and over. It doesnt implement the -4 AC as it should either. |

Maybe it's better to file these complaints on the sites where you found them, I don't think many people around here will be able to help you.

You have installed the Grandmastery Patch. This restores Grandmastery to what it was in BG1 and IWD.
**: +1/2 ApR *****: +1 ApR Level 7, 13 and 21( or was it 19?). Each +1/2 ApR. Default is 1 ApR of course. So that is a total of 3.5 ApR by default. 4.5 ApR if you Dual-Wield. |

Fighters only get the extra half attacks at level 7 and 13, that's all. They should end up with 3 ApR (4 ApR dual weilding) for Grandmastery after level 13. You got me thinking though, so I went and loaded up IWD. They also give you a whole extra attack for grandmastery. I guess BG1 must be the same as well. You are only supposed to have one extra attack from grandmastery of a weapon (1/2 for specialisation + 1/2 for grandmastery). With the base 1 plus half for levels 7 and 13 it makes max 3 attacks with a single weapon per round.
Now I don't know whether to add in the extra half attack again or not. It's not supposed to be there, but it was in IWD and I assume also in BG1. |

Hmmmm... double-checked with my maxed Archer. Being only Proficient in a weapon gave him 2 ApR, and Grandmaster in Longbows gave him 9/2 ApR, so that makes you right. Hmmmm... then I am not sure where the extra 1/2 ApR is coming from. I have no idea at the moment.
