This is pretty weird ... My game was crashing rather frequently as of late, so I installed Bioware's official ToB-patch ( SoA-patch was allready included with the expansion). Installed the Fix-pack that baldurdash had too. And was happy
But now, when i load my quiksave ... the game is very slow, an incredibly low framerate .. ( settings are still on 30 ). I dont get it, i havent changed anything ![]() Well, my brother increased the video-memory or something, but that was because he thought that was the problem with my game crashing, not enough video-memory. Any thoughts ? I mean, did anyone else experience problems after installing patches or something ? Thx for any replies ![]()

I got it the last time I installed the game plus the patch.
I don't know why or how but after restarting the computer it all was right. Perhaps a defrag could help.

hmm, k, I think I'll reinstall the patch, restart ..
Bioware does mention this problem on their website, but it says the latest patch fixes it ... very funny .. really, as far as i know, installing the patch Started it ![]()

Woohoo, game isnt going slow anymore .. disabling 3D-accelaration did the trick .. little less special FX, but a better running game
![]() only ... Now i get Blue Screens every 5 minutes, 2 types: - Blue screen saying that Physical memory had to be dumped, and that it was succesful in doing so ... -just a plain blue screen while returning to windows (XP) Is this screw the avatar over day or something ? Im not finding it very funny, heck, you might even call me a wee bit frustrated
