Which class do you think is the most powerful?

I would say probably sorceror

Hello, brad_kav welcome to ironworks, IMHO i think the monk or the scorcerrer (sp?) are the best class, but nothing beats a Cavalier or wizard slayer

This is a highly subjective question, since it also depends on the person's playing style.

With advanced apologies to Cerek.

For example, if I ask Cerek( a boardie who prefers to brawl than cast magic) to solo a Sorcerer, he would most probably find it very frustrating as magic to him means Magic Missiles. Casting time, school of magic, area of effect, etc... mostly mean nothing to him.

Now, if I ask Cerek to solo a Barbarian, he will relish the task, because Barbarians can do what he likes to do. Bash the living snot out of everybody who gets in his way.

The opposite applies to me, I loathe using Barbarians, but I absolutely love using Sorcerers. So really, it all depends on you.

i feel that spell casters have an unfair advantage toward fighters. timestop, lower magic resistance, etc. just make it HARD on a fighter. just my opinion though.

I can think of 3 warrior classes that can take on a Mage/Sorcerer fair and square. Not easily, but not impossible either.

Oh, this is excluding dualclass and multiclass variants of course.
