Davros - for an Australian you are quite well balanced - you have a chip on BOTH shoulders

Hi Memmie - someone called Trescothick I think - he's history anyway . Gillespie missed the hattrick - Butcher blocks one then edges precariously through the slips for 4. A confident start . We are getting the first 2 hours on free loacal access television, before we pick up the last two seeions on Channel 7.

What was that Donut - something about Chip - YES save him, don't let Sarah win .

Hi Memmie,

Much playing and missing, but they seem to be managing to survive so for. Looks like a real flat batting track, so I think perhaps a score of 150, maybe 180 it they apply themselves .

Missed the hattrick? Does that mean that not one, but TWO English batsmen wilted under the pressure?

44-1 The ball is being dispatched to all corners of the ground. This is a 5 day match isn't it?
BTW - why can't the Aussies get caps that fit, they look so untidy

No Memmie,

Only one wicket down still (though how, or why, I honestly don't know) - just my usual optimism - I figured that once Dizzy got one wicket he would rip right on through them. Looks like England have posted their 50 - one third of the way to their target already . The ball is going in the air all over the place, but doing a good job of avoiding Aussie fieldsmen (sigh). It can't last much longer though. And Brett Lee is starting to limber up .
