I know I have to kill the kobold shaman to get the staff. He doesn't seem to be dropping it. All I can find is a mace. I have reloaded a saved game several times but the same thing happens. Any ideas? Thanks guys!

Interesting..killing the shaman should allow you to pickup the staff, I suggest reloading and trying again, if this dosen't work it could be a bug of some kind, in which case install the patch.

There are two groups of them in the sewers. On egroup is split on eithre side of the river( for lack of a better word) so bfore you cross it head north along it that oen has the staff. You might be killin gthe second group which is just north of Quallo and his pet tha group includes a shamman too

Now, for the sewers-thing, this has to be a bug. Cause none of the Kobolds carrys any Mace. And since re-loading didnt help, I suggest you get the Staff using CLUAConsole or Shadowkeeper.

Exxon, Kobolds do sometimes carry Maces. Anyway, the exact Kobold Shaman that you are looking for, resides along a sewage drain. His party is split into two, one half on either side of the drain. You will know it is the correct Kobold Shaman because when you walk close enough, he will tell you to get lost. Hurl one Fireball or Skull Trap to end it fast... real fast.
