hmm.. at the beginning of m&m7(don`t remember the name of the isle.).. have anyone killed the black dragon in that cave?... I remember that i tried over hundred times without success..

and if my memory is correct then i can remember that there is an blue leather armor( which is on of the best in the game) in the caverns where all the spiders are.. somewere near were the arcomage deck can be found.. if it helps somone.(and likes Bungleau said, arcomage is an extremely addictive game, It`s almost like i`m now playing m&m7 just for the card game.. )

I've killed Morcorack (I *think* that's his name ) many times. It's actually very easy if you get him in the right spot, although it can be very time-consuming. I run around the cavern once counter-clockwise so that he's along the edge of the cave. Then I hide in the niche in the doorway, and side-step out to fire away at him with bows, spells, and wands.

It may take forever, but it can be done. And it's the only possible way that I know of to get back to Emerald Island after you've left -- by getting a Lloyd's Beacon scroll from his corpse and setting a beacon.

'Course, you then have to find another one so you can return, but that exercise is left up to you.

I don't remember the details of that cave, but I do covet that armor... especially if it's Of The Phoenix...

For the sake of time and RPing, I didn't even try to kill the dragon. Just ran through the cave grabbing what I could and left.

Part of my problem was that I was leveling up my Paladin alone every time in the training grounds. Didn't realize everyone had to level individually - the caves were much easier with a level 4 party. Thanks for all the help - I'm in the process of cleaning out my new manor now and quickly falling in love with this game. Now if I could just find a pack of cards I'd be set...

oooh! you can get a quest to find a lost brother in caves nearby your castle. iirc, you get it from temper. either from her or the toothless lenard skinner up on the hill above your castle. *head spins from too many quests in too many current MM games*
oh the point?!!
when rescuing the brother, one of the things you find is his deck of cards. and at that point you're on the road to arcomage addiction.

I think the quest-giver is in the inn at Harmondale... makes you think, doesn't it?

"'Ey... me bruvver disappeared, and with 'im, 'is deck of cards. Kin ye see if'n ye kin find 'im? Ya did? Well, keep the cards, then... and we've a game goin' right over there... *cue evil laugh...*"

Hmmmm.....

Almost forgot to add my updates... my mage and cleric are level 80, making them level 110 with the Kriegspire well (and I'm going to have to clean out those drakes soon, too ). The pyramid was amazingly easy... both of them wearing Morgan along with rings of dark magic, my dragon breath can do over 500 points of damage in a shot. A single shrapmetal can bring down a 615-point defender of Varn in one shot as well... that great big collection of Djinni and Efreeti near the water temple were nothing to worry about.

Just have to collect the control cube, and then start going through the control center, and then finally the hive. Have to leave out of town tomorrow, though, so I won't be able to game until Thursday. The land will have to wait until then...

Some topics can seem to grow enormously, can't they That's part of what makes these games so much fun...

My trip was good, and thanks for the wishes, bakrus. Vesselle, don't spend all your chips in one place... and be sure to bring enough back to fund the next MM game

Did some gaming last night, finishing the control center (Terminators can eradicate you! I'd forgotten about that... and me with only one character who can cast Resurrection...). I started to head over to the hive and realized that I'd forgotten to do the Dragon Riders cave in Kriegspire.

Ran in there, knowing that I was going to run into all those worms. Shrapmetal was making quick work of them when suddenly I was surrounded (literally!) by Cuisinarts!

Fortunately, they're not resistant to Shrapmetal either... Running a Cuisinart through a cuisinart... there's some poetic justice in there.

In any case, the Dragon Rider Caves were quickly emptied, and the party is sitting in Sweetwater, waiting for me to arrive and let them do battle with the Kreegan atop the plateau, and then the hive itself. The end is near...

I also cleared off almost all the drakes that appear when you use the +30 level well. There is one left... I seem to recall that if you kill them all, they won't spawn any more when you drink. We'll see shortly...

Finished my MM6 game tonight....

Gruhntt, level 91 Champion
Jurania, level 91 Archdruid
Gino Paulo, level 91 High Priest
Copperfield, level 92 Archmage

Saved Enroth and everything else in 5 months, 16 days. Final score of 120,399.

I think that scores should be added to every CRPG. Adds to the replayability...

Now, for some much deserved rest...

Hm.. it took me awhile, but a little while ago I finally managed to find a copy of MM6. A friend of mine was willing to let me borrow his. Turns out.. the CD is either scratched or can't be read by any my CD/DVD-ROM drives. Damn..
