More specifically, where did they come from?

they're the little spawns of the spider mastermind. so i guess they come from hell or mars' moons (not that the movie has either of these places)

Why didn't you ask that in the original question? Foo!

Of course, where they really came from was from behind the walls in #7, Dead Simple. I'll never forget that one. After killing the "sumo on steroids" and breathing a sigh of relief, all the walls dropped and those [unmentionables] came pouring out with their streams of plasma bolts. Arrggh!

I'm gonna split it because you both gave correct parts.

Betel gets one question, and Nightowl gets the other one.

Answer to question 2) Blue Cross with Swords, Oak Leaves, and Diamonds.

If both of us post questions, things could get too confusing around here. So I'll let Betel post the next two, and wait for another time.

Sorry for the delay. I was suffering from "interrogator's block" (and I bet Betel was, too ).

1) In original Diablo 2 (no LOD), how many free skill points (non-level-gained) do you have at the end of the game, and how do you get them?

2) For you old-timers out there, what was the trick to defeating Mondaine in Ultima I?

1) 4 as far as I can remember. Den of Evil, Radament and 2 for Tyrial. Unless you're counting the whole game as being all three difficulties in which case it would be 12.

Woohoo, I knew those thousands of hours playing d2 would come in useful one day!

1) In Legacy of Kain - Blood Omen, who is the first named boss you fight?

2) What is the name of the Colombian Drug Lord you have to kill in Hitman Code Name 47
