He is in both versions if that is what you mean.
Im pretty sure he can be found to the west of the roads between Beregost and Nashkel. Just earch around the areas west of the roads until you see a group of gnolls, Drizzt will ask for your assistance.. nuff said, goodluck! -Aragain |

Bromley and Aragain are both correct, he´s west of the way between beregost and nashkell, and he´s always there, TotSC or not.
