Did anyone else catch that The drow cleric happens to be from the same house the Drizzt's family destroyed while he was young? In the land of the Drow, no one from the house being attacked is left alive. Least of all a noble, so how is it that she alone (well at the end of the Drizzt books) is still alive?

If you romance Viconia she tells you her story among other things.
She tells that she was the cause that her house fell out of Lolth's favor and that she escaped BEFORE the attack of a lesser house.
I think that the lesser house would be Daermon Nashbaernon or Do'Urden,if you like the common name

I also noticed this but the reasons conflict. in the books matron devir aided the deep gnomes when a drow patrol attacked them. I think that maybe the creators messed up. btw does ne thing special happen when she is in ure gorup when a. entering the underdark, and B. meeting the rogue Do'Urden?

Viconia says nothing because she is a good roleplayer.

She's neutral evil, (totally self-serving) so only would speak if it benefited her. She obviously does not want to attract attention to the fact that she is an Exile while in the heartland of the drow, doesn't want to be associated with the DeVirs in the cage, and doesn't want to incur the wrath of Drizzt. She does just fine keeping her mouth shut.
