Yerp, *looks through his TOTSC manual*, you must NOT have TOTSC... The EXP cap for TOTSC is level 10 and i think for Rangers and Pallies its 600,000 exp. I have 460,000 now on my ranger =\. Hrmm, i suggest getting TOTSC when you get to Baldurs Gate, the city. That way you will have done what you needed too and got some extra items for the *cough* big battle *cough*.

actually i played the game thru to chapter 7 previously and then went thru durlag's tower and thats where i maxed out, and my character was a ranger.

Then it is becuase i have Dark Side of the Sword Coast, which has a level cap at 40 LOL. If you dont like level 7, get DSOTSC!

The xpcap of BG is 89 000, and the xpcap of TotSC is 161 000
