Warcarft III is an exelent game especially with Frozen Throne(Expansion)
And dont listen to everyone else, I still play Black & White and it is still fun, but that may just be me, i do enjoy throwing fireballs at villages and throwing villagers....

Just started playing WC3 and it's great if just a little hard.

Never tried BW and frankly never had any interest...

also if you get WC3 (which I recommend) be sure to try it out online, I spent most of my WC3 time online and you get some brilliant games on there. A game I would recommend is Northland Siege, it had me hooked for literally months!

WC3? purchase and enjoy. It's not only similar to Starcraft, it was made by the same company and its predecesors preceded Starcraft.

B&W? Way too much micro-management for my taste, you have to baby sit your creature constantly or it eats up the population. Anyway yeah wait for B&W2 as others have said. It's supposed to be far improved both graphically and in gameplay.

I would say save your money for now with WC3, buy SC+BW for a third of the price, then buy WC3 for half of the price it is now once the imbalance issues/bugs have been sorted out.
