Preybelish is a mysterious character in the north east of the first level (Main Halls). You need the Word of Venom to open the door, but I've heard that you can also taunt him into the light to make combat easier. Question is - how do you do this? The conversation options given don't seem to work.

Try attacking him and luring him into the light by using ranged weapons.
