Has anyone else played it? The hubby brought it home a week ago and I've played it through once and I'm well ahead on my second time! And usually I don't even enjoy these kind of games (shooters), but this is amazing! If you like shooters get this game! It has 3rd person view and you get to command additional troops as well. No that's Freedom Force. Haven't tried that one but from what I've heard that's supposed to be a pretty good game as well.

I've only played a demo, but I thought it was great. The AI is good, and apparently on the real thing it's superb.

It looks pretty cool.
I thinking of investing my 50 into it.

I've heard the A.I is pretty good, and the game is supposed to have a brilliant soundtrack.

The sound is AWESOME. It's an Hungarian choir singing what sounds like Soviet tunes (inspired by Russia's national anthem). I would buy the music CD if it was released!

The AI is one of the best I have ever seen. Instead of enemies rushing headlong into battle they dive for cover, advance very cautiously etc. They also react to gunfire, not just standing still if you miss! The officers calls for backup, grenades are flying, they advance with covery fire etc. It's so got dang real! Your troops are also acting very professionally. Give tham a site or two to defend and you lure enemies into a serious amush as well as cross fire.

Here's a demo for those who wish to try the game. I warn you though, you may get caught up in the game wanting more.
