Skills: there is no difference in class. A L5 fireball is the same for any of the three classes.

Fighters: well, at the start, I took bow. The bow was a good weapon for much of the game. I also took sword. The best weapons tend to be swords, though there are good ones of other weapon types. Repair came in handy. Aside from Fireball, I also had Freeze. I put one point into lockpick (there's a way to get a couple more points, and items to increase the skill, later in the game).

Well, I liked both the mage and the fighter. The mage has an easier time of it for much of the game. But they don't need Toys, and I like Neat Things. Fighters get to use weapons and wear armor, and I loved having a frost sword.

It's possible to do the game without magic, but I wouldn't want to try it myself. Some of the spells are just too useful.

Like which spells I need? And what's the ideal INT for a fighter? 20-30 will do it?

My favorite spell: resurrection. I used it for some nice XP exploitation. (Not to mention cool stuff too)

Yep...I agree. Awhile back when it first came out many of us requested a forum for it and it really deserves one.

Glad you like the game...I think it is a wonderful cross between Diablo2 and my all time favorite CRPG Ultima 7 The Black Gate.

After a long break, finally went back to finish this game....

Got to say, the ending is a little disappointing. Final boss was too easy. I just blasted him with the blue elemental spell.T

Might go back to play a fighter character....

OK, some Questions now.

1) what do "coloured" potions do?

2) there are clues as to being about to join various items together. Area there any items to creat other than potions?

3) Whats with the statue that lands at Zandalors and irhu's feet?

4) I had great difficulty dealing with the woman with the crystal ball. I had to resort to filling the room with cheesy summoned creatures. Anyone has any better ideas?

5) other than the temporal spell (slow enemies down), did anyone find any of the divine skills useless????

Can't rem anymore.....

Cheers to all

The statue is a joke. It's the same one that blasts off at the start when you open the firts dungeon in Aleroth.

Yeah, the second part of the game is a letdown in many ways. And most players consider the divine skills useless. I certainly did.

Josephine is the one that gives most players early gray hair A fighter can take her out easily with the special move and invisibility. For some reason, you don't go visible when doing the special move. So if you walk in on her invis, get close, do the sweep (be careful not to target her), and keep it up, she's toast. A frsot weapon is especially good here.

Aside from that, I found L5 Hellspikes to be pretty good against her.

P.S. I don't recall "joining" anything outside of potions.

1, check the describtion. I think it stated there.

3, seems useless.

4, which class you are? okay, drink shadow potion, then use warrior special. if you weapon can deal freeze damage it even better.

5, to me, all divine sspell is useless. and a bit too late.
