Naah, real time combat here means, BG style of the real time combat. You get to pause to issue commands and then unpause to watch the action. If you needs to issue new commands to the PCs, you can pause the game again.[/QUOTE]No it's not and the developers have said this on the Lionheart forum numorous time. RT in this game is Real time without pause. Maybe they have changed their minds since the last time i was there but i'm really sceptical.

And as for it being a midevil Fallout. I'm not to sure about that too. People seem to be so engulfed with the special system Lionheart is using but the special system does not make Fallout to what Fallout is. It's the whole atmosphere. Now if they make it the same raw atmosphere then it will have the same feeling but i highly doubt it, because the almighty dollar speaks. So the only thin in common that these two games are going to have is the SPECIAL system and you can't compare two games only on the system they use.

Real time combat with out pause? That really sucks big time. They have lost their mind...

They will probably do like Fallout Tactics. You had the choice between real time and turn based.

probably not as the developer already said the game will be real time combat without pause. then again they might change their mind. I think.

Well, they said that about Fallout: Tactics, too.

It could still be fun if done correctly. I actually made it all the way through IWD without relizing there was a pause button. Actually it was to the end and I could not defeat the last boss in real time and about given up when I looked at my control sheet for the first time and spotted the spacebar. My idea of pause then was to go into the screen to save my game.

My point being, that me not knowing there was a pause button didn't take away from my enjoyment of the game. However having gone through several times now, I do realize that the first time was by far more challenging, even compared with the difficulty levels.

Yeah, but once you are used to the "pause" button, you feel so handicap without it. It is okay if you are playing as a single character (Diablo), but trying to co-ordinate an attack with a party member of 5 or 6 (BG, IWD) would be quite a disadvantage without a "pause" button.

My favorite is still turn based combat, although it is rather time consuming.

I prefer might and magic combat style as you can turn right time or turn based mode at ease by just pressing " enter " button.

Try Fallout Tactics in real Time mode, it's quite hard.
