What do the ranks mean and how do we achieve them?

G'day guys,

I've been in IW for three days now i think, but I haven't worked out what the ranks we have mean. Also how do we achieve our ranks?

With # of postings you climb in the ranks until you´re godfather of typing and posting

The ranks have no real meaning at all, some people know more than others, for example, someone who has just started to post on the board may know more then someone that has been posting here and has like 2000 posts IMHO
