...So, I've started just walking into random houses looking for quests, because the ones that I get from "Rumors" are rapidly drying up and being replaced with "Hey, aren't you the hero of Kvatch?"

Seriously, I never remember a time in Morrowind when I had so few active quests...I always had fifteen or more things on the back burner.

Oblivion, not so much. I've yet to find unique items, besides Umbra...but beyond that, nothing yet. Still, I've purchased all the houses and all their accoutrements, three different horses...all sorts of stuff...but now, I'm gonna have to go to the Fighter's Guild or the Mage's Guild looking for work.

I've seen it written that the game has 216 quests, including MQ. Based on that information, I'm a quarter done! In Morrowind, I've YET to cross the 25% mark with any of my characters...

Yes, and the quests seem a little more cumbersome to even start. I have only done like 20 quests so far...I want that house in Anvil too. Oh and a white horsey! (horse controls are retarded ) Are there any warhorses such as a pally charger thingy?

I've been doing mostly the side quests and haven't really gone for the main quest. What's a good level to do the main quest at - I hear that with the levelup thing, if I wait too long to do the main, my enemies will be decked out in good gear and my allies will still be in what they were in at the start of the game (ie iron or leather).

I'm level 10 at the moment.

I finished the main story at lvl 15 and it was probably the perfect difficulty, my allies were still underpowered, but I was just able to keep a hold of the situation
