So the human eye can supposedly see 100 fps, it doesn't change the fact that everything with 30+ appear fluid. So if there was dirt between two frames I'd see it, I guess I'll have to make sure dirt doesn't get in my video card, or it could show up between two frames. ![]() |

He's psyched...don't knock his rig
![]() I'm kinda waiting for mine to keel over before I buy one that can handle Oblivion, or at least the semester to end. I guess there will be a healthy number of mods by that point. |

Well, I have already pre-ordered Oblivion and im hoping my current beast will handle it on higher to highest settings, though it most likely wont, but thats ok because im getting my X1900XTX a few days after it comes out.

SEE you on Planet Nine Hivetyrant.
![]() Just remember that the X1900XTX can only be used on PCI mortherboards and that you have a little more than 10 inches of space. That sucker is long!! Also I hope you have the 650W power supply that it requires to keep it from getting resistance over heating. I chose the X1600XT for just that reason I didn't want the Full 24"tall tower case just to hold the power supply and Card to give it the air space required to keep it cool. Enjoy! I will. ![]() [ 03-10-2006, 10:35 AM: Message edited by: TheCrimsomBlade ]

If you want a graphics/game rig, get an AMD imo
(AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Dual Core 2.2 GHz)(4200+ means it runs 4.2 GHz intel equivalent) costs less then 400 euro (380 in Netherlands).

Those prices for the 6800 are a joke. You can get the 6800GT 256mb ram from $129 to $250 tops now..
I own one, and its fluid in every game I play. (also run 2 gigs of pqi superfast ram) 2.2.2.5 OC my P4 to 3.6Ghz, and it blazes. I have oc'ed it to 3.8 with no problems too, but don't wanna risk it. |
