Ideas for new character?

March 24th is the date i've been given for Oblivion. But that's too far away. So i've decided to have one more bash at Morrowind to help the time pass and i'm looking for a few career/lifestyle suggestions for a new character (and possibly my last). Any one got any ideas?

What type of characters have you played before ?

Not that it matters really much, since in time you grow omnipotent anyway.

Exactly. Different "classes" and "birthsigns" only specify how much problems you will have in the beginning of the game. Since level 20 or so, the classes and birthsigns do not differ at all.

Therefore, create a custom class (as usual ) and concentrate on the following:
- Are there some places you haven't visited?
- Are there some quests you haven't done?
- Are there some guilds, you haven't been a member?
- What about "Morrowind Additions" or similar mods? (Good luck during cleansing Chaos Shrine )
- What about playing "no constant effect items" (exception: the Last Six Blows, but only these blows) or a similar game?

I already preordered mine. Now I just have to get a dvd player.

If you are like me, you will go through hundreds of character restart just to have the right kind of character for your first game.

Just thought I'd mention, many of the birthsigns make some major differences in the end of the game. Never go with the Lady or the Steed or anything like that, cause they'll only help you in the beginning. The best sign is the Atronarch as it's the sign that has benefits that other signs can not come close to that help you even in the end of the game, Womburn is a very small price to pay for the Atronarch's gifts, in fact Womburn becomes more of just an occasional technicality that a problem once you can afford the magicka potions.

Good question. I should've put that in the first post, i guess. They are as follows (all custom):

-Nord Warrior, Fighters' and Blades. Morrowind MQ.
-Dunmer Mage, Mages' and Telvanni. Tribunal and Bloodmoon MQs. Lycanthrope.
-*Breton Female Thief (Naesha), no factions.
-*Argonian Hunter/Gatherer (Swims-With-Fishes), no factions.
-Dunmer Assassin, Morag Tong.
-Khajit Thief, abandoned.
-Imperial Merchant, Hlaalu, abandoned early.
-Redguard Fighter, no factions.
-Dunmer Assassin/Thief/Smuggler, Thieves', Morag Tong.
-Imperial Officer, Imperial Legion, Fighters'.
-Dunmer Cleric (Akulakhan), Temple, Redoran.
-*Dunmer Sorceror (Urival), Imperial Cult, Mages', 11th House ( ). Quarra Vampire.

Between the last four characters, i covered a LOT of what Morrowind has to offer and they were great. Characters with an asterisk were/are my favourites and, if you want, you can read about them here.

I've settled on a re-run of my Argonian hunter/gatherer. Sabotaged all his skill selections so he'll probably only make it to level 5 in his whole career.

I thought it fitting that, since it may be my last, i play the kind of character that CAN'T be played on other rpgs.

I was going to suggest not making a custom character; all they lead to is powergaming, since you want to be the best at everything you've chosen. It also seems better to roleplay a class the way Bethesda would have wanted. Playing a thief class and casting spells doesn't seem all that well adjusted to me.

But do what you will. Though it matters little to me, good luck and fair weather during your travels.
