I feel really stupid. I cannot find the Koal Cave. I'm there, treading water in the area with the stone archway, my map says I'm at the koal cave entrance, yet I see no cave!! I searched online and it's said to be under water directly by the stone arch, but I simply cannot see it. I'm starting to think my game is bugged, actually. Or I'm just really really stupid.
Could someone provide as exactly as possible the location of the actual cave entrance? I'm already in the right area, swimming underwater trying to see the entrance. What am I missing?

hey there. You are NOT stupid. It took me ages to find it the first time too. There is more than one stone arch! The entrance is a normal door and it is above the waterline (just!) though when you go in you will be underwater some of the time. I think you need to go north west from where you are. It is right by the base of the second stone arch. The game annoyingly tells you you are at the entrance, doesn't it, but that's the name of the area, the actual door is a little further. Hope that helps!

LOL, thank you SO much!!! There are TWO stone arches!!! You're a lifesafer, thank you!
I'm going to play right away... hopefully this time more successfully. (I'd been mucking around the area for ages, and had to quit every time because I got no further and two times I wanted to ask on Ironworks, but my internet died on my both times. )

Next time, Stick your local map into your screen ( click the x on the left top side of the map ). thus you'll know where some places are. adjust the size of the map so it won't bother your sight.

I know how to do that, but it's not gonna be a whole lot of help if I can't find the place in the first place. (that sounds odd...)

You need to learn how to look at the topography of the local map.

Yup I just found mine!

It's under the northern one of the two arches.
quite a bit NW of the Berandas. Under the wrong arch I found a Deugh Warrior who gave me a Deugh wax... very misleading. The cave door is very clearly once ur in the area, so if u can't see it ur definitely under the wrong arch.

Swim west first and the north, and then look east for another inlet with an arch.

The door as indicated on the paper map faces South
