hi gang,
Can anyone who's played Bloodmoon please tell me where the heck the halls of penumbra are? I have travelled west from the sunstone as directed, but I can't find it and I'm sick of going around in circles (not to mention dizzy). Thank you!

It's south of the east square of Lake Fjalding, and north east of Fort Frostmoth.

oh bother! I have been going up and down, up and down, Kakero, are you sure you're not just telling me where the sunstone is? Forgive me for questioning you, it's just your directions are perfect for that, but not for where the stone tells you to go; the halls of p. I can't find them and think I may go doolally looking!

ok, have eventually found the halls of penumbra. For anyone else looking, here are directions. From the sunstone, go directly west, across the river and through two sets of little spires. The halls are a cave entrance on a snowy mound right in front of you. It is not v far at all, but it's so easy to miss places in this game!

Jelly, do you check your 'local' map from time to time? Can be a really big time saver if you are in the right neighborhood but just can't spot the spot, so to speak. You can click and drag its edges to enlarge it, of course-- I leave mine at about 75% of screen size.

thanks Oru, that's a good tip. I have my local map in the corner of the screen, but I never knew you could change the size. D'oh!

I still have the tiny map in the corner, its just that a lot of people don't seem to know the map on your inventory screen is size adjustable, and can 'stack' with your character pic, spell list, etc...

I leave just enough room on that screen to 'place' an object from inventory to gameworld...

interesting, I also let the local map on and put it as a small box on the top right side of the screen. As a sniper I need to see where the monsters are.

edit : test sig
