Chapter 7 Question

I did a quick search through the boards, but I couldn't find an answer. Possibly spoilerish, so...

At any rate, I'm currently wandering through Chapter 7. I've gone through the Iron Throne, and am set to head off farther down the plot path. The question I have is about healing Duke Eltan. The Harper fellow (Drelthyr?) told me that the Duke's healer comes out of the Flaming Fist barracks every night, and to try and follow him. But so far, the healer hasn't show up. Anyone have any hints on how to get the Duke back in full health?

Go into the compound. Though there will be a fight to reach Eltan, natrually

Thanks guys. I did get a bit mixed up, and didn't want to crash the barracks. But I did and I got the Duke out of there.

And showed Mr. Sarevok who's boss at the same time. Heh.

You dont need to slaughter everyone in barrack to get to Eltan. Personally I used Imoen and Minsc (hidden in shadows) me and one more person with invisibility to stealth to the Duke's room. Killed faked medicine guy, took prince body, cast invisibility and went away.

Another possibility I used: Have your thief with a wand of sleep sneak in and put to sleep the two guards between you and the steps to the second floor. Take your entire party in and deal with the fake healer. Get the Duke to take to the Harbour Master BUT, before you all go down use your thief to go down first and put the guards to sleep again. Then all can leave.

Another way to get to Duke Eltan (the way i used by fluke) is i took my whole party in there and paused right away before that guy comes to talk to you, now this is important you must have the wand which has the same effect as a hold person spell, any way u use the wand on him and if it gets him before he starts a conversation you should be fine go kill him and then there will be no other problems coz he wouldnt of called for back up.

What IS this "Wand of Holding" I've heard about twice so far? Here I've been, playing my games and making sure I go EVERYwhere and do/get EVERYthing, and up sprouts an item I've never heard of. Is it only in ToSC? Or maybe you're talking about the Wand of Paralyzation.
