the merchantile skill is tag together with disposition skill and both is bugged. but no patch fix this so I guess this is intentional by Bethesda.

However, Creeper in Caldera isn't affected by this so he sell and buy and cost price. though you need to nerf him a bit so that he'll buy all of your stuff.

I haven't seen an original trader that sell daedric stuff too.

Kakero, do you mean you can get creeper to buy anything? I just found him and he won't buy most "misc" items. How does the "nerfing" work?

AFAIK the only way to trick the creeper to buy everything is by modifying him with the editor. And maybe, since you are cheating, you can cheat a bit more by adding a bit of money as well.

Perhaps Kakero is referring to the bartering procedure you use to sell costly items like the above mentioned daedric weapons.

Obviously, Kekero, if you know a strictly in-game way of selling misc stuff to the creeper, just tell us

Yes, please!

I still got tonnes (more than I can carry) of raw ebony to sell.

You mean the trick for selling items valued (a lot) higher than the merchant's max money?

btw: How do you officially quote a prior post? I just copied this "quote".

I don't know for sure, but i think when you download the mod that gives the creeper 100.000, he automatically buys everything you bring him. At a certain point in the game i was carrying 4 or 5 grand soulgems with captured Winged Twilights around, and since i hardly ever use enchantment options, i decided to sell them. He bought them all. He also buys normal clothes, raw glass, scrolls, etc...

So i guess he takes anything else as well.

Either use the "quote" button above the post or use html tags:
Remove asterisks, I had to put them to trick the forum to display the tags

[*/qb][*/quote]

Explanation: [*qb]Text[*/qb] turns the text included within the tags to bold. the first tag sets the beginning of the bold text, the second the ending. Ending tags always include the / before the specific command

[*quote]Text[*/quote] encloses the text within two horizontal lines.

The common format is to enclose all the quotation into lines, then state the original poster in normal char, then the quote in bold char.

Whoohoo, my first real quote!

Thanks B_part
Do you know if there is a list of the "graemlins" you can use?

Back to the subject:

If I understand correcly, the only way to get creeper to buy everything is by modding? I don't think I will do it. It is part of the fun to be looking for merchants with enough money and inclination to buy the things I have pillaged.

Deejax, on top of your screen, you'll find the graphics library, click it and you'll see all the smilies you're ever gonna need.

Edit: if you think you'll eventually find a merchant who can buy that 80.000 Daedric bastard sword from you, you won't. They're simply not around. Now unless you wanna keep and store all items, or won't even bother taking them, you're gonna need a plugin.

Thanks Johnny (of moet ik zeggen: bedankt!)

80.000 !?! I thought 10.000 for a daedric sword or wizard's staff was a lot. Hmm, plugin they say.....
