So I went back to tribunal even though the goblins irritated me. And happily I only had to kill another three or four of them. But frankly the plot is very frustrating.

Am I the only one who is confused by whose side I'm on? Apparently Helseth tried to have me killed. Now we're best mates and I'm investigating stuff for him. I find out about the dark brotherhood plot and go tell the guard guy, and he says don't worry about that how about you go find me an informant. Sure, I say! At the same time I'm working for Almalexia, with no choice but to crank up some weather for her. Hello! I just spent a good deal of time and effort trying to get rid of ashstorms on the mainland and now I'm just supposed to go, oh sure Almalexia, I'll whip some up just to soothe your ego, no problem. I can't roleplay this! There just don't seem to be any options to do things differently than the totally linear (and confusing!) way they've set out, which, after the Morrowind plot, is very disappointing. While the main plot of Morrowind was reasonably linear, I at least didn't get any options of joining Dagoth Ur or doing the Sunder and Keening bit differently, but I was actually on someone's side and doing good. Now it's totally ambivalent, not good or bad, just a lackey doing stuff for seemingly no good reason

Plus those trap things in the forgotten sewer are totally annoying

when I first play the game I was confuse too. but now I fully understand it. I think.

Yes well it's not that fun doing jobs for people when I can't even figure out whose side I'm on, nor should it be so complex that I would need to replay it many times to figure it out. That doesn't really enhance the RP experience. And it doesn't change the fact that it is totally unrealistic to think that after going to so much trouble to end the ashstorms (or being in the middle of trying if you play tribunal before you finish the main quest), that I would blithely toddle off and start some up deliberately with the only incentive Almalexia wanting to show off. It's stupid, and the writers could have done a much better job

Agreed!

Go play Bloodmoon... that way you can get snowed on instead (and still not be able to see anything, and make the game sloooooow down).

I haven't finished Tribunal yet; my character got stuck in the Dome of Kasia in the Clockwork City.

I did get frustrated with several elements in Tribunal, like the "trivia collector" quests, the fact that most alchemical ingredients weigh a full pound, that everyone you work for seems to be off their rockers (Mournhold-induced insanity?), and the dizzying claustrophobia induced by the endless sewers. Sewers. Yuck!

I also get fed up with dungeons where suddenly you can't use your levitate spells (or whatever). What, did gravity suddenly get extra strong? Is there a No-Magic-Levitate field in which you can use all OTHER magic potions? Or is it just that my boots are so clogged with sewer-muck from the under-Mournhold that I can no longer get them off the ground, magical help notwithstanding?

I agree, this did not seem well-designed. And I will try NOT to keep bugging you about Bloodmoon, but.... it definitely has a more-designed feel to it than Tribunal did, as well as other things to look at, lighter alchemical ingredients, cool-as..terisk swords, fun quests, quest-givers that keep buying you drinks ("oh, here, have another"), and a LOT more random wisecracks from the NPCs ("This guy comes from the barrel at the BOTTOM of the barrel", "So, this toothpaste, it helps stick your teeth in your mouth?"). Actually, it seemed to fuel a lot more wisecracks on the characters over in Vvardenfell as well (oh, and a quest may originate on the continent too).

Alright, alright, I'll stop already!

I think the thing I liked most about Tribunal was allowing the assassins to keep attacking me over in Vvardenfell, and then selling the armor. Mmmmm, money!

Simple, if you talk to someone. they'll say levitate is not allowed because Almalexia don't like people to be above her head.

Bloodmoon should be released July 4th in EU.

Just a little over a week from now.

Looking forward to it.

I think the story is a lot better in tribunal than in Morrowind. It's put together in a much better way. I also like the museum and the naked barbarian joke.
