I just started the game again, after a long absence, and I find that the gold cheat (additem, etc.) no longer seems to work. Any ideas?

Any thoughts? How about this? Don't bother cheating; work for your spells, equipment and training like everyone else. Cheating gold in Morrowind take ALL the challenge out of the game.

I've no idea why it doesn't work. Maybe a typing mistake.
That aside, I agree with Firestormalpha. It takes the fun out of the game and gold isn't that hard to get anyways. C

Have you added a patch or some mod that may have changed the way the console cheats work? (If that's even possible. Hey, don't ask me. I never use 'em!)

thank you, I had not remembered the cheat code correctly. I have now, and it works. I'm glad you guys are enjoying the game, it's one of the best.

yeah gold isn't that hard to get..........raid a house vault or something then visit the drunken crab......it's that easy!
