early fighter guild mission..

OK how do you get the code book from that theif in the south wall club, as i dont really want to kill her, and even if i bribe her up to liking me 100/100 she still wont give it to me, and my sneak isnt high enough to pickpocket her, as im a fighter. Any hints or ideas??

well, try to train your sneak skill then until you can pickpocket the thing from her.

or do what I do, taunt her to attack you and then kill her in self defence.

i tried taunting her, but she wouldnt attack me, i suppose i can afford acouple of grand to be trained in sneak, or im just going to steal it from her, leg it, dump everything, get arrested pay a small fine, then pay a little to the guild for breaking the rules. its cheaper then killing her.

Only trouble with that tack Odin is that you get booted from the thieves guild and can't complete any more quests. If you do most of the thieves guild quests first, you get to one (bittergreen cup) that means there is an alliance and that code book quest gets skipped out. Your best option is a pickpocket that is NOT detected.

If i make ammends for pick pocketing her, basically by paying money to suger lips do the quests still end? as i have treied this, and they let me back in it would seem ( i have saved before and after doing this just incase)

When you did this what level were you in the theives guild, as im a black cap (basically finished all the balmoria missions for this guild)

How much money do you have? bribe her until her disposition is 100, then taunt her, if her disposition gets too low, bribe her again. repeat and repeat until she says goodbye in red and attack you.

Hmmm... i remember bribing her and getting the book as well... but at that time I was not a thieves guild member... maybe you can't get that quest done if you are a member?

Anyway, here's my advice: be careful with the quest Edwinna in Balmora and Sjoring HardHeart in Vivec give you on behalf of the fighter's guild: they might stop your career as a thieves guild member, if you don't pay attention
