I'm talking about chartering every cave, mine, ancestral tomb and every daedric shrine in Morrowind? I would have tried if I had the ability to write on the map (like in wizardry8)

Anyone ever come across maps like these? The only map I've found only details cities, travel routes, mage-guild-teleporters and boat-routes and not any sort of cave or shrine..

---------

Secondly:
My brother told me there was an easter egg in the game. If you go far enough out into the sea, you'll find a naked man on an island shouting and hollering.. is this true?

I haven't had any problems using the in-game mapping in combination with the provided paper map. The only problem area is inside the Ghostfence. Most areas of interest usually have their own zone and their own little yellow box on the map, what else do you want to label?

You could always make your own maps. Take some initiative, not everything is going to be done for you. All you have to do is expand the Map window to full screen, take a screenshot, and print it. Now you have a labelable map. Or if your an X-Boxer, get out some pen and paper and start tracing.

wrong....buy the strategy guide tells you every location every mine every ruin and every city. along with what major items can and should be found.
no there isnt some naked barbarian on some island and yes if you got alot of patience and alot of time there is a bottle with a message in it floating at sea in the upper right end of the map.its not on any island or land mass and its not near any landmass its just out in the open sea. but hey once you find it................................
dont you wish i would tell you? buy the guide and find out. if everyone bought the guide then questions like this wouldnt be asked. i know takes the fun outta the game in a sense but it takes the question away.
and the in game map doesnt list the caves and shrines. only quest based important ones.

If everybody bought a strategy guide then there's nobody going to post in this board asking for question anymore. This Morrowind board will then be a "ghosttown".

But think of all the quests you miss before you've finished the game. A walkthrough allows a person to do every possible subquest and get the most out of this game.
