Minsc- Richard Moll (the tall bald guy from nightcourt tv show)
That works for me. Much better fit. He has the right size and physical characteristics AND he's done some decent acting in the Highlander series.

Keldorn- I agree with Sean Connery

Imoen- Mila Jovavich (from The Messenger)
Hmmm...never heard of her or The Messenger.

Viconia- I agree with Catherine Zeta Jones

Anomen- Billy Zane (he's got a pretty boy look, heh)
That's a good choice also.

Edwin- Gary Oldman (he's got class)
What has he played in? I can't picture who he is.

Valygar- Laurence Fishburne would make a better Valygar than Wesley Snipes, IMPO, but this is a "who knows" for me
Both are good choices. Wesley did the "dreadlock" look in U.S. Marshalls and he would be much better at the sword play. Still, Fishburne isn't a bad choice either.

Mazzy- Tina Turner??? What are you smoking my good man?
She's the only one I can think of with the right hair. She did pretty good in Beyond Thunderdome, and LOTR showed how to get around the "height" problem. Still, I admit this is a weak choice...just couldn't come up with anything better.

Now to complete the list....

Aerie - Bridgett Fonda.
Sorry, Glorfindel, but I'm not familiar with Poison (except for the Rock group). Is it a movie or TV series?

Yoshimo - Jackie Chan (I agree with Glorfindel, he's the most obvious choice. He's also the only one I could think of for this role).

Sarevok - Again, I can't think of the guys name...but he played the fighter/enforcer type for Jeremy Irons in the Dungeons & Dragon movie. He also played the head terrorist in Passenger 57, starring Wesley Snipes.

Wasn't that the same guy that played 'the mummy'?

I like the Famke Jansen as Imoen idea! She DOES bear an uncanny resemblance, and she'd probably do a decent job with the character, but I have no idea as to Jaheira. Somebody said Catherine Zeta Jones, but I'll disagree with that one. She seems MUCH more suited to Viconia, in terms of character. You could also get John Malcovich as Irenicus (I can imagine that he'd do the "Genius - but - completely - insane" bad guy extremely well!). The Danny DeVito as Jan Jansen...that would be funny as hell, but I really can't imagine a gnome with a Jersey accent !

It was I who suggested Catherine Zeta Jones as Jaheira and Halle Berry as Viconia, but since the popular opinion seems to have Catherine as Viconia, I'll gladly switch Halle over to Jaheira.

I LOVE the idea of Malkolvich as Irenicus (wish I would've thought that).

I also suggested DeVito as Jan Jansenn. He can "lose" the accent when he needs to and he did a good job as the Penguin in the second Batman movie....Besides, do you know any other male actors that have the natural height of a gnome?

I'm just fooling around, Cerek. DeVito would make a pretty good Jan, to be truthful!

A few old ideas from some similar threads in the past saw Alyson Hannigan as Imoen, Angelina Jolie as Bodhi, David Warner himself (Irenicus' voice) as Irenicus... the list goes on and on, into the past.

A few that came to my mind while playing the game included Richard E. Grant as Saemon Havarian, Pierce Brosnan as Aran Linvail and Patrick Stewart as the rogue Harper, Galvarey...

Clancy Brown (The Kurgan from Highlander 1) as Sarevok. Anyone that has seen the opening battle scene with the Kurgan smashing through the Scots with his massive sword and hearing his brutal grunts and yells as he does so will have to agree (who cares if he isn't black, this is the age of political correctness and equal opportunity).
