Okay, I've been playing for a few days, and am thoroughly impressed with this game. I've got one small irritant, though. It's all this walking around! I know it's prolly good for my health, but my char, like me, is basically lazy, getting plenty of work-out with baddies and mudcrabs (hey, don't laugh, I did mention I just started out!). Do you ever get the opportunity to mount up? And a side q...does your walking speed ever increase? I love the realism of the game, but real-life walking speed gets kinda old.

No steeds in the game due to the problems involved with including mounted combat...

No steeds in Morrowind, its kind of a disappointment after being able to have your own horses, carts and ships in Daggerfall, but at least you have the Silt Strider, Boats and Teleports to travel long distances.

The walking speed its for the most part just a problem on the beginning of the game, later on, your skills raise and you get hold of some gadgets that will make you forget about it.

Well, it's too bad about the lack-o-steeds, but good news about walking speed. I guess I'll have to be happy with that. Thanks for the responses.

That accepted is there a way to get around fairly limited carrying capacity? I loved the donkey for its storage more than my mobility and am annoyed that my str seems to need to be pumped every level if I'm ever to carry much.
