Hmmmm....for some reason I suddenly wish I was a slaughter fish....
I've been playing it since it came out. I spend 6-12 hours a week on it. At level 27 or so now. Dark Elf adventurer, strength at 100 and medium armor skill. I'm at the point now that whoever I face, when I whack 'em with either my two handed Magebane, or Dwenmer longsword, I knock em on their arse, then a couple more whacks before they get up and they're toast. I could probably move on to the main quest, but having too much fun. I just finished off a dude with all ebony armor in a dwenmer ruin in the NW. Too bad it's heavy armor.

I've been playing since the game came out (May 2nd is the date on my oldest save) and I'm level 32 right now. I'm not sure how long I've been playing... wish this game kept track of that, it would be interesting to know. (I'm on day 297 in the game...) I haven't had the game getting too easy though, even after I got to 100 in destruction and unarmored... I still get knocked around a lot. ^_^

My current character is a dark elf fighter-mage type at level 22. For you guys on level 3, just go swimming along the coast of Neen, lots of tombs to chack out and even a pearl filled grotto. If you've got athletics is one of your major skills you'll level up fast too.

I am around level 16 with a custom Wood Elf Archer/Thief/Mage. I am one quest short of Master Thief but I need to finish the Bal Morger quests first. I am also getting fairly high in House Hllau. I have gone up to the point of going after a cell of sixth house types in the main quest. I am currently balencing my time between this and Warcraft 3 so my level progression has slowed down.

I'm alittle confussed guys, how high of a lvl can u actually achieve. I am right now a lvl 23 dark elf, and i thought the highest lvl you could achieve was 35? Am i wrong? actually i hope i am.... i am playing elderscrolls iii on my X-Box, but that really won't make a difference right. And actually For the X-box players, fear not there will be a free add on released when X-box goes online, and one throught the X-box magazine. I e-mailed the company and the responded that the add ons for the computer will be released and also brand new items, quests, and other things (which he didn't state what they were) will be released on the X-box. But not to fear Pcers all the new stuff will be added as a patch when everythings ready for release some time in Novenber-Decemeber time span

There is no strict level max. It will be slightly different for different characters. You level up by progressing any combo of major and minor skills a total of 10 ranks. So if all your majors start at 35, and all your minors start at 15 you have a total of 65*5 + 85*5 = 750 possible advancements. Divide by 10 and you can get up to level 75. This will be different based on your races plus or minus to a major/minor skill.

Someone here said that you can go higher than this by getting yourself thrown in jail. You lose a few skill points, which you can gain back again, but I'm not sure that these doubly gained skill points count towards leveling the second time. Can anyone confirm or deny?
