Sorry for the recent pause in the game I've been busier with the internship than I thought I'd be. I'll try getting up a post tonight.

I'm sorry again, but a friend unexpectedly came to stay at my place for a few days, I'll have a post up when she's gone around Tuesday/Wednesday.

The game has not failed...for to fail it would have had to not live up to its expectancy to offer the players an interesting scenario in which to interact.

This game has all the makings of success, but obviously there is something wrong...and my opinion is divided thus:

Either,

1. The players themselves have failed you in providing the means for which to move the story along.

2. Your strategy for recruiting and retaining players needs improvement.

Or maybe,

3. It just so happens that the players involved all have something exterior from Ironworks keeping them inactive...which is out of your control.

Just to let you know, you're doing a damn good job and should be proud of your work. From my perspective, you're doing better in game creation/retention than most people who attempt something like this and get absolutely nowhere.

Don't let such bumps in the road wear you down.

Persist.

agreed, even the longest running game, LoF has had extended periods of 0 activity and suffered large problems with player retention.

Sorry I don't post too often, I'll try to get more responses up over the coming weeks.

So far things are going well - I'm looking forward to finding out more of the story!

I don't want this game to close. I've not really been around recently, due to me running off to visit and be visited by friends (in other countries), but - I do enjoy the game and it would be a shame to close it. Maybe summer is simply a slower time of year?

I'm still up for it though
