Oh, don't worry about me not being able to find something. I've been doing this for a long time. Besides, I know all about Republic archives, I had to do something when I was bored as a child! But, right now thee's another thing I have to do for a moment, and then I'll get started on that.

I'm sending that program I've been working on, Poo. After that, I'll be taking a closer look at the data the General has given me.

Rey and Barrick, in unision, say "The Ca'rael Building," and then look at each other, seemingly stunned.

"YOU TOO?" Larsek says in Barrick's direction.

"Unit Aurek-Nen-Wesk. You?"

"Unit Esk-Cherek-Senth. We need to talk."

"I know."

Barrick speaks up. "The Ca'rael Building is a secure building on the far side of the planet. By day, it would seem to be one of the more prestigious Law Firms in the Republic...you may even recall some of their Partners worked on that shock-ball star's murder case a few years ago...got him off the hook, too, by noting four technicalities and providing the jury with a pair of pants that didn't fit."

Regardless, there are three floors in this building where the records are kept on some of the most secure mainframes in existence. They are connected to no network, besides their own, not even elsewhere in the tower. One of these mainframes, though, does not belong to the firm. It connects to their secure computer bank via a one-way access that pumps data in and 'archives' it...or so everyone is supposed to think. It doesn't do anything with the data, though...it just dumps it."

This seperate mainframe, unknown to most of the Firm, is a container for the Republic's most secret of secrets. It it housed in a seperate, secure room, encased in enough ferrocrete and durasteel as to survive a supernova. It has a fusion generator to provide power, and is housed in hard vacuum."

It is guarded by fifty, deep undercover cell-operatives, most of whom don't know of all of each other. They work various jobs in the tower, from janitorial duties to a couple of Partners in the Firm. I'm not sure which ones."

Regardless, if the deletion has been as thorough as Larsek says, then the one place no one could have touched yet would be that mainframe."

I believe, honestly, that Joneth can get our data---but we have to get him there to access it. Eciel, we need your expertise here, too...and Bakilas...and you, Terassk. Hell, we probably can't even do this without the Jedi...we need all three of you."

Oh, and one more thing. General Larsek? You are to be accompanied AT ALL TIMES by an armed guard, besides Rain here. Any volunteers for that?"

Barrick stands, waiting for a response. Clearly he will not move until someone volunteers.

OOC: Some bits from Larseks' data to be posted immediately in the discussion thread.

"Any preference on fatalities? We may need to... disable a few individuals on the way in."

Eceil had no idea how Barrick knew all this, but with a shrug he decided not to pursue it. They all had some secrets they were holding back.
“Casualties? My preference would be zero. We kill one operative and chances are well have to kill the other 49. If we kill them theirs gona be another hundred police officers waiting outside to keep us from escaping. We fight our way through them and we won’t be able to make it back to someplace safe before we got the army after us. Our best bet is just to do this without a drop of-”
Another idea races through his mind. Eceil laughs to himself for a second. He could sure be a twisted mess of a mound of flesh sometimes.
“What if we made it look like it was the Trill’s attacking the building? We set off a bomb on the floor with the archive, make it look like it was a misfire that didn’t destroy the building when it was suppose too, then we walk in as the investigators and get our hands on the files before anyone can stop us. Hell if this place is such a big firm then it probably wouldn’t be a stretch for anyone to guess that the same terrorist that hit the tower were behind this one too. We wouldn’t even need to kill anyone if we timed the blast right.”

OOC: I love GMing

"That sounds crazy, Eciel...though with the right approach, it could work. We don't have much time, though. We need to find the specifics of the security at the tower, and after that, we need to train and practice this operation. I don't want anything botched, if this is the plan we're going with, because as Eciel said, there will be hell to pay." Says Barrick.

This sounds fun, and all, but I have much work to do. You can let me know when you come up with a plan that doesn't get me killed. I assure you, I am not one much for fighting.
Joneth then leaves for his room, a "Do not disturb" sign on his door.

OOC: Have I finished checking the data, Poo? If so, you know how the next few hours will be spent by Joneth.

Bakilas nods, "That could work, but it would need to be carried out perfectly. I dont want to have to explain why we were bombing a building, especially in light of recent events."

“Alright, someone will need to tell Joneth to get us a copy of the buildings schematics. Meanwhile, someone needs to call the place up. I think our best way in with the bomb would just be to arrange an appointment with them then carry the thing in ourselves. Someone else needs to get us a bomb good enough to do this job, too.”

Terassk lights up at the words 'Blow' and 'up' being used together, but, there were other things that were pressing his mind, such as the General's defense, he sighs, "Barrick, I would like to help in the defense of the General, if that is okay with you," but, secretely, he hopes he will have to do less defending and more shooting.

"I'll be more than willing to accompany the general" Te'Oma pipes up. "I've been assigned to bodyguard duties many times in the past so I should be able to handle it. Unless you need me somewhere else that is... I like the idea, although I'd like it if we didnt have to kill dozens in the explosion."
