Eceil freezes in mid step. He whirls around just in time to watch Joneth close the gap between them. The twerp sure was taking over control of the mission fast. Whatever, the group needed a boss anyways.

Joneth walks back to a tech room, setting up a tracking program for the comm link, and then waits for Keal to come and try and raise the General.

The group assembles in the rarely used (

) conference room, waiting on Keal, who seems to have had some minor errand to finish up before accessing the comm equipment there. The rest of the group (Joneth, Eceil, Te'Oma, Bakilas, Terassk, and Barrick) waits there on him. Tension begins to mount as it becomes obvious that Keal is taking his time.

"Why would he claim to not know the General's comm frequency?"Barrick mutters to the rest of you."I hope he doesn't mess this up---communication with the General may be our only hope of finding a decent lead in all of this. After all, let's face it. I looked over the holocam recordings of the building when you guys got 'attacked.' I saw that there were a couple of figures leaving the General's residency, holding something. That means that these people probably are AFTER Larsek, and you three were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They may have even been after him! After all, he's been missing for a while, hasn't he? If we can contact him, maybe we'll find out about something important enough to explain someone else looking through his personal possessions."

Sorry about the comm stuff. I didn't know what the comm frequencey was, oh well.

Does anyone here happen to be rather diplomatic? We certainly don't want to insult him, or scare him away. I can't stress enough how important this is.

Yes, as a Jedi, you must have been trained in this kind of thing, right? We'll let you handle the call, unless someone has an objection. If all else fails, just try and stall as much as possible, so I can try and trace him.

The frequency hums slightly and soon enough, connects, allowing dialogue to initiate between the ever elusive general Larsek.

"General Larsek?" Te'Oma begins.

"My Name is Te'Oma, I was wondering if I may have a word with you"

Te'Oma pauses slightly to wait a response, hoping he can gauge a reaction of how to handle the situation from the tone of the generals voice. He had to do this the old fashion way, as his Olfactory receptors were useless at reading emotion at such a long range
