A lone guard yells out at the people slowly but steadily scattering to hell and back, his voice rising above the din.

"YOU DON'T HAVE YOUR SECURITY CLEARANCES YET!!! WITHOUT THOSE, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING!"

The guards pass out special data-chips to each person, except those who have already left. These data-chips include concealed-weapon permits and a 4-Aleph level security clearance. Incidentally, this clearance is fifteen levels too low to find out that your 3-Zeta level group exists .

In the Armory, you find suits of blaster-resistant armor for most humanoid body-types, blaster pistols and rifles, and a small amount of heavier weaponry (one E-Web tripod-mounted fully automatic laser rifle, some light, shoulder mounted laser-cannons). There is an abundance of energy clips, and several generators for charging them, 2 of which are backpack sized.

OOC: Dron is right about the way that this would be handled, JJ...Eciel would make his way to a CDF outpost, station, or headquarters, and request that information. On a world of 4 trillion, that's the only hope you have of finding people. Incidentally, the headquarters has computer banks that link directly to CDF...but, your character has already left, before being told of them. That's okay, though, because you're roleplaying, and as such, sometimes you won't do what is most to your advantage.

Joneth goes to the armory, fits himself with some easily concealable armor, and a blaster pistol. He then looks to Terassk to see if he is ready to move.

Terassk gleefully straps on two blaster pistols and grabs some blaster resistant armor. He eyes the heavy weapons and states "I'm tempted to grab those, oh so tempted, but I don't think Senators like looking down the barrel of a rocket launcher... Hmm,"
Terassk grabs a launcher and sees if it can fold together like a Merr-Sonn Prototype launcher

The public transport glides over the planets traffic as it makes its way towards a landing platform in front of the CDF headquarters. Eceil, having been pressed up against a window of the ship by the mass of people, stands with his face pointed out a dusty rear window. His eyes had spent the entire trip transfixed on the churning metropolis around him. Eceil had forgotten why he left the city all those years ago. If the transports engine died right here he had no doubt they would fall for at least twenty minutes before hitting some man made surface.
The ship comes to a stop at the CDF station and Eceil pushes his way out of the vehicles crowd and onto the landing platform. He works his way up the buildings steps and into its glistening clean reception hall. Their he pauses, straightening up his worn flight jacket and doing what he can to untangle his graying hair. Patting the knife and blaster tucked away in his jacket with a reassured comfort, Eceil walks up to the receptionist while forcing himself to smile.
"Good morning, my name is Jeris Ma'Shedth, I'm with the Courescant Weekly. Were doing another segment on the terrorist bombing and I'd like to get a chance to interview some of the survivors. I need the contact information you have on them, if it's not too much to ask."

"Very well, sir, please take a number and we'll get with you when we can," the receptionist says.
Eciel is directed to a seat, where he sits for nearly an hour before a detective finally comes to meet him. The detective, a lieutenant, informs Eciel that his visit was unexpected, and that normally such things would have to be scheduled. Then he asks for his clearance, something required for talking with the survivors, and commonly issued to the associated press.

Bakilas, Joneth, and Terrask continue to look through the stock of weapons, finding also a small assortment of conventional melee weapons. Unfortunately for Terrask, those heavier weapons are rigid, and can't really be compacted in any way. Worse yet, it's common knowlegde that even with a permit for such things on Coruscant (which are relatively rare), to have them on one's person legally, the power clips must be removed, as well as any rockets or other projectiles that heavier weapons may use. On top of this, the weapons must have a barrel-plug fitted to them at all times.

Bakilas smiles, "Ah melee weapons, now we are talking my language."
First he grabs some blaster resistant armor which he wears under his normal clothes, he also tucks a blaster pistol into his shoulder holster.

OOC: What sort of melee weapons are we talking here?

Eceil shifts his head to the side and reaches into his jacket in a fake effort to look for his press card.
"Boss didn't say anything about this. Why do you need clearance to talk to the survivors?

"It's for their protection, Mr. Ma'Shedth...we can't just allow anyone to see them, as they are victims---we have a duty to protect them until they are genuinely safe...that is, the criminals have been aprehended and tried."

Bakilas finds vibro- and stun- everything.

Looking to Terassk,
"Are you ready? If so, we should really be going, we have a lot of work to do."
Turning to the guards, "Do we have airspeeders available, yet?"

"There's only three right now; we've been having supply problems with the airspeeders, but expect more later this week"
