Able entered the temple quietly and just caught the tale end of the strange womans words and witnessed her vanishing. He then tried to look occupied, and unoticing, shifting his view around the room, shuffling his feet, looking at the ceiling, all the while listening to what the adventurers had to say.

She leant closer to Verrion and spoke to him in a whisper so that no one else could hear.

"Do not look behind you, but haven't you noticed that shady, fat person following us around. I noticed that in the temple he was quite interested by what we were told."

Verrion Sieg 12/12

"I have noticed him shadowing our every move since we started for the temple. I fear he may be a part of Bhaal's clergy. I don't know why I feel that way, there's just something .. dark about him." Verrion stopped, rested his arms on his hips and said "I think we should confront him now. Best to do it now, then later and let him report to someone about our movements. maybe we might get something out of him even"

Still in a whisper Drusalia said to Verrion:

"He is repulsive also. How can someone abandon his health in that way? Look at how fat he is! I agree we should confront him. The sooner we unmask him the better. He might even know something about the memory losses we suffered."

Verrion Sieg 12/12

"Let us go and find out what we can." Verrion started walking towards the man, stopped a few feet away from him, and looked intently into his eyes. The air glowed for a second around Verrion and the next moment Verrion asked, more relaxed "Why are you following us?

OOC: The air glowing was me using Detect Evil.

Able couldn't help but smile. He tried to shut it away to regain his composure but he couldn't for some reason. Some subliminal sense perhaps, or an attempt to ruse his "prey". It seemed like an automatic repsonse to the confrontation. After an awkward silence he finally spoke in a somewhat noble tone, "I was just curious about what adventurers like yourselves were doing in town... and if it has anything to do with... things that happened before in our lives... before the morning everyone woke up and knew nothing of the days before."

"Then why didn't you come and ask us before? Don't you think that following us around for several hours is mighty suspicious. How can we really know whether we can trust you anyway?"

Verrion Sieg 12/12

Verrion wasn't entirely convinced in the man's explanation, but was confident that he wasn't against them. They were in the same trouble, and he turned to Drusalia to dissuade her from her extreme suspicions about the man. He spoke softly "I know what you mean, I also have my doubts, but this man is not evil. I believe we should work together in trying to get to the bottom of this as a common goal."

"Well I wasn't sure if you people had good intentions, either. What, with your being all shady and suspiscious looking!" He in response. The irony of his statement was a tad over-the-top. "There was also your mentioning of Baal, he then shook a bit and cringed,"which is a name I cannot recall but my body cringes at the very mentioning of it."
