ooc: where did we take Andrion ? hehe
Vincent Pathfinder 98/98 " Good sir, Andrion otherwise known as the Merchant Kyrth something as you refer to him, was a member of our small troupe. He offered to help Larry as did all of us. He is you're assassin and he was caught behind the tavern trying to flee by Arcadies and Liam. He should be around here somewhere. " edit to close tag. "Andrion? But why would he do such a thing? Obviously it was Roderick was the bad apple in the Candle-seeking team...what gain would Andrion have at slaying me?" [ 09-13-2004, 06:25 PM: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ] |

OOC: Andrion is lying on the floor of the tavern, unconscious.
IC:Plaxica 70/70 "I saw the one you refer to as Andrion captured behind the tavern by that man." - he said pointing at Arcades. - "He might be able to tell you more." |

He pulls the unconcious Andrion by his collar to Marcos. Arcades had banadaged the wounds to Andrion's calf muscles he had inflicted, but he still suffered a large loss of blood. "This one had the scent of Larry silverfall's blood on his hands and attempted to flee through a hidden shadow portal. He is the one, beyond a doubt."

She raises the flames a bit higher, the blue and silver reflecting in her eyes, as she watches the Mage thoughtfully as she leans against her staff. Picking her words carefully and smiling she whispers upon the air, "I never doubted you could strike him down anywhere, and any way. But, there will also be someone to heal him, even if it costs them their life. Even now, Larry is healed. So... does that insinuate you are more powerful? I think not. It only shows you pick poor assassins to use." She chuckles softly... She lightly taps her staff to the floor, and the moonstone set upon the top glows a fiery purple around the room. She whispers once more, her eyes glowing in trance..
"To Power, time means nothing. Everything belongs to the Spiral -- be it the path of the universe, the rotation of the Starweb itself, or the path of Father Sun across the sky. And where does Power come from? Like the storms, it comes from earth, and sky, and water, and the Power of Father Sun, and the Wise One Above. Of all the sources of Power we know, the Wolf Bundle is most Powerful on earth. The Wolf Dreamer led the People from the First World to this one, the Wolf Bundle was made. Born of a Dream, it suckled itself from the the minds of the People. Because th People believed in it, it grew in strength... warmed by as many hands as held it so reverently.. powered by the spirit breathed into it from a thousand lungs; it is the soul and Power of my kind, elves, and humans. Yes, your shadow magic is powerful... but remember, your power comes from the same place as mine... although from in the earth's shadows, instead of light. That's what keeps bringing me back to you. The Power of the Wolf Bundle and the ley lines. The Circles of the spiral are turning and the earth is changing. You are trying, by your own use of Shadow magic to unravel the Starwebs woven by the Wise One Above. Time doesn't mean anything to Power, but it does to the humans inhabited here. Sooner or later, you and I must dance the spiral of Power... only one will survive.. but it will change the course of these forums forever. For every attempt you make on Larry's life, I will take that residual power left over, and form it each time together, to create a magic to fight you with. So said, where do your true interests lie, Mage? In Larry, or what he is trying to create?" Adapted from "People of the Fire" [ 09-14-2004, 03:02 PM: Message edited by: TAOWolf ] |

Mage
The dark one sat brooding over her words, for he could see clearly the challenge in them to his claim over the people of Ironworks. Even now, she was showing off by just being here. "Kaylisa, I am no match for your tongue, nor dare I try but know this...even as you agree that we are equally matched and opposites from the same power, the battlefield in which that fight takes place will be the determining factor in our epic fight. Even now, I hold powers over you while you stand in my domain, and I was at your mercy the day I appeared to you in the forest. Even now, unseen to you, I have taken something from you that you have not missed yet! Ahahaha! Another thing...I thought you and your kind were all about the balance. If you and I represent the two ends of that balance, then who is this Reaper become, to try and weigh down my side of the playing field...though he and I do not want to share our toys...he does offer me more of an advantage in the business I am in. Why not go pester him and leave me to my dark hole here in this tower? hehehe...What do ya say, Tao?" |

For Roderik
As you played your instrument, the Giants became angry, feeling that you were trying to cast a spell upon them. In his rage, one of the giants kicked you, sending you flying by luck's chance through the door and out the other end!!!! OOC>>>Roderik...you have received so much damage that you are 5 hp away from perishing. However, you are now outside the prison walls and find yourself in a hallway that is dark and eerily quiet. The giants are shocked that such a thing has happened, and are now trying to get at you, but are still on the other side of the wall for this turn. Roll to see if you can run but do not waste your time hiding in shadows. |

ooc... umm... not exactly what I had in mind, but it works well enough
Roderik hp:near death/70 The impact had definitely taken Roderik by surprise, he felt several ribs that felt like they were bruised at best, possibly broken, and he had rolled into another wall. But he was free from the giants, for the moment, and as he battled back Rodie's desperate attempt to retake control in light of the injuries. Roderik climbed to his feet, and looking left and right, charged down the left hand hallway, wheezing under his breath, "Left is right." Reaper had told him about how the mages tower looked in the days of yore, when the RP forum was young, and the paladins had been a force to be reckoned with. He was searching for a way to the lower halls. recalling the tales of horrors kept, and lives broken by the Mad Mage, and hoped that the way would have become clear in the intervening years since He had fallen at the hands of the Stormbringer. {edit for font tag} [ 09-14-2004, 04:34 PM: Message edited by: Morgeruat ] |

For Roderik
The giants dare not tear through the walls to get at you, and have a hard time manuvering through the twisty turns of the tower. Pretty soon, you easily outdistance them, but then you hear them shouting out from the darkness behind you. You do not think they are calling for you. This dreaded revelation is a chilling thought. |

Roderik HP: 5/70
The events unfolding around him were like those of one of the stories Roderik had used to frighten his audiences, and a chill passed through his spine. The hero who wanders off alone is usually picked off by some horror, and eaten in a most disturbing fashion, or else he has a near-death experience and is out of the story until the rest of the heroes arrive and he saves them. If he had to live through one of his ballads why couldn't it have been "March of the Chainmail Bikini's" That he could have enjoyed, he chuckled. His laugh was interrupted as he coughed up some more blood, and sent wracking pains through his broken body. Downward he limped, trying to find passageways that would lead him past the horrors Larry kept as pets. |
