A Simple Job

[Lauren]

Alatariel gives the gnome an evil glare.
"I'm not sure if I should say anything. I do not know if the rest of this group wants me to say anything."

[Bozos of Bones]

"I'll talk to you." Ulest speaks to the gnome. "I don't appreciate being lied to and I especially don't appreciate being set up." he turns to his chained comrades "Yes, Bakilas set us up. As it turns out, we probably robbed a man from the thieves guild here." He turns to the gnome again "Now, if you could just remove the chains as I'm getting sores and blisters, I'd be happy to answer any question you may have."

The gnome turns to Ulest, "Well I am glad one of you has a little sense." He nods to one of his orc companions who unchains Ulest's, Alatariels & Mithval's chains.

"I am going to leave your two other friends chained up as they seem to be dedicated to attacking my people. Now tell me about this Bakilas fellow and I am sure that we can come to some sort of agreement to fix this."

[Sythe]

Androw listened the entire conversation. He decided to only make his move when it seems his companions are not going to be free.

OOC: Sorry that I am a little behind I have had a lot of things to do as of late.

Alatariel becomes wide eyed, "Excuse me but I didn't say anything about not telling you, I said I wasn't sure if my friends would let me or not. But none of you answered me. If I would have gotten an answer from Ulest or someone else then I would have told you."
"Yes, I do not like the fact that Bakilas set us up, but I do not know why he did it. I would be glad to give you some more information along with Ulest if you could be so kind as to uncuff me and my friends."
Alatariel starts squirming around, "They most likely don't appreciate this either, and I'm sure they are willing to speak about it as well."

[Bozos of Bones]

Ulest stretches his back and arms for a bit, as they crackle, Ulest asks "So, what do you want to know?"

[Keal]

Keal grows angry at the gnome and ttries to use his intellegence to trick the gnome into giving his weapons back. "I am not bent on attacking anyone but Bakilas right now. Your robed men seemed suspicious, I just wanted to keep my friend safe. Now as for the thievery, Bakilas is accountable for the robbery. He seems to be of the rich type a snobby, greedy rich thief, nothing more. He called us out specifically, leading the hiest. I have nothing more to say until I am unchained.

The gnome gives Keal a dismissive look, "Good, then say nothing. Can you tell me anything more about this Bakilas character? It is odd that I have not heard about him. Also I would like to know what possessed you to do a robbery in this town without my permission."

He turns and whispers to one of the robed figures who turns and leaves the building.

"Bakilas is the name of the man who hired us to do a job. For the guild, he said. The knave was talking that we were going to the thieves guild after the job to sell the necklace we stole. There was a solid pay for our talents, maybe too solid. But I thought there was something special about the necklace so I didn't put much thought into it. We were instructed to go to a tavern to seek shelter. "Ulest looked around "I'm guessing that this is the tavern, right?" Ulest asked, but right after he asked that he asked something else "What was special about the necklace we stole?"

"A thief commiting crimes in our name, this will not go unpunished. If you assist us in retrieving the necklace you will be allowed to leave, possably even rewarded."

The cloaked figure returns and whispers into the gnome's ear. "Bakilas seems to be a fake name, we have managed to locate the inn he was staying at. He will not still be in this town but perhaps he left evidence of his next location."

"I am sending you out to bring me the necklace and Bakilas, dead or alive. The necklace once belonged to a mage that studied the darkest of magics. We do not know what the necklace is capable of and were going to study it until now. I will send a bounty hunter with you to assist in tracking this Bakilas fellow.

Return to me successful soon or I will send out a second party with orders to kill you all. Go to the Gambling Soldier Inn and search his room."

The gnome signals and the bounty hunter is dragged into the room and thrown to the ground.
