I'll write you in later tonight. Basic items such as armor and weapons can be added. BTW you came up with two great characters. And to answer the question you posted in Shadow of Love discussion: yes Larry is participating still, but he has told me that lately he has been very busy.

Introductory post has been made. It also considers some info for other characters in the area, but those characters (except Celedor, who hasn't posted in some time) are controlled by dm's (me and Bozos my assisstant) so feel free to reply. Next to Harmeth you can see Robyn (Mistral's original character, human female healer, controlled by me), Roland (Sythe's original character, controlled by Bozos), Feldorn (my original character) and the guard captain along with miscellaneous NPC's (guards, alarmed townsfolk). Feel free to talk to any of them.

Heh, thanx dplax. ^^ I'll post the basic info on here, minus backgrounds... just because I'm a horrible meanie like that

Name: Deoradhįin (pronounced DOR-an)
Age: 230 (about 28-31-ish in human years..)
Race: elf
Sex: male
Alignment: chaotic good
profession: ranger
belongings: basic ranger stuff, elven long sword named Augdras, a female Hen Harrier named Kazeki (will add more detail here later)
background history: all you have to know is that he's an arrogant bastard to basically any living creature, including elves, for some past history... and he has a particular hatred for orcs... (pm dplax)
Specialties: er, the usual elf abilities, and heightened ranger abilities because he's an elf and has spent many years on the field (possible elaboration later); very intelligent because of his royal upbringing and forced exile, but his prejudices and haughty condescending manner can sometimes get him in trouble
Appearance: medium-short spikey silvery hair, milky pale skin, hard amber eyes, about 6'1" tall and a slender build, weighing about 100 lbs

Name: Layna (pronouned LAy-na)
Age: 58 (about 23-ish in human years)
Race: half-elf
Sex: female
Alignment: good neutral
Profession: healer
Belongings: long gloves that reach up to her elbows with the fingers cut off... I originally had "cloak of the unicorn" listed, with no weapons because of its cost, but I don't think it exists in LOTR.. :/ will elaborate more here later
Background history: (more like personality, I guess...) she is kind to everyone she meets and tries to get rid of their prejudice, especially against half-elves
Abilities: amazingly strong healing abilities because of her mixed blood and being raised by druids. Also affiniated with birds, especially strong with Kazeki because of always being around her... however she has a distinct distaste for metal weapons, and enough iron can burn her skin and weaken her.
Appearance: very pale skin like snow, deep hazel eyes that tend to look more turquoise or brown depending on her emotion, slightly longer than shoulder length hair that she wears down with long bangs framing the sides of her face, hair the colour of gold that has a chestnut sheen when struck correctly by the light, thin, stripe-like scars around neck, wrists, ankles, and 2 star-like scars on back... not noticeable unless looking for them, except for the 2 on her back which are very noticeable... about 5'3" and weighs 85 lbs

hmm.. hope this isn't too confusing to everyone I'm pretty tired so I'm being too lazy to make a good job of this.. tmrw I'll prolly read this a gag and rewrite the whole thing... in fact, I think I'll make my first character post tmrw, because that way I'll know I'll do a good job ^^;

I am back! I am ready to again start posting. I have usually played later at night after everyone has gone to bed, but now that my PC room shares the space with the 11 month old, I have been unable to do much. Nevertheless, holidays are coming up and that means that my school work is winding down. I may be able to do more during the day instead of night.

However, after reading all the posts and trying to determine who I am with and what is my stance...I am confused. Can I get some help?

Sure you can get some help. Turin along with Terias and Kirūn has ridden after the group which included Kalam and Therlion. They do not know of Keal or Adohorn. As the sun was going down they noticed a campfire and approaching an elf has jumped in front of Turin's horse then seeing he grabbed but the horse's leg he backed off a few steps. Turin's horse has started to get agitated. An elvish voice has also asked who your group is.

So, due to a twist of fate and some odd events along the way, dplax and I exchanged DMed groups a little. Salphur is now under his rule, as are Bober and Hurlon. The Kalam's troupe is now under my leadership, so we will be moving along shortly.

Since Bozos has become my assisstant DM it might be chaotic for some new or returning (*winks towards Larry* ) players to know who to regard as their DM's.

The group of Therlion, Turin, Adohorn, Terias, Keal and Kirūn is now being taken care of by Bozos. Kirūn and Terias have not posted in a really long time so we are working on a way to temporarily remove them from the game.

Salphur, Hurlon and Bober are DM'd by me.

Skye's two characters and Roland, who are in town are also DM'd by me.

Celedor from whom I haven't heard in a long time is also under my control hiding in a bush outside the town.

I am working on getting an updated version of the map done. It's done. My drawing skills have improved since the last one, but are still quite bad. Photoshop also helped quite some.

dplax, I am sooo sorry, but could I possibly beg you to DM my characters for a bit longer, or put them on a sidequest of sorts so that they do not hold back/affect the gameplay? I've been really caught up in some family/college issues in rl, and final exams are right around the corner... my winter break is very soon, however, and quite long, so I will have a lot of leisure time to rp.

again, much appologies I know I have not been the best of rpers as of late..

EDIT- actually, I will make an attempt to post at least once this week. I really want to participate and use my characters, especially since they are newly created just for this, and I not had the chance to explore their personalities yet... if you can wait until then, I will do my best to set aside some time to put in a lengthy post

Your characters are the only PC's in the location they are in now, so they can wait.

Waiting for Xen to be able to move that part of the plot on in which he is.
